Cigna Coverage Availability & Fees
As a Cigna dental insurance policyholder, you can expect to receive excellent coverage when seeking necessary dental care. At Park City Dentistry, we are an in-network provide with Cigna, allowing us to offer pre-negotiated fees for many available services.
While your policy may look a bit different from other PPOs, you can still expect to receive similar coverage in the following format:
- 100% preventive services (dental cleanings, exams, X-rays, fluoride treatment, sealants)
- 80% basic procedures (fillings, tooth extractions, emergency treatment)
- 50% major procedures (crowns, root canal therapy, wisdom tooth removal, periodontal)
By paying your monthly premium, you are granted access to these benefits and many more. Each calendar year, your insurance company provides you with an allotted amount of money known as your annual maximum to assist in caring for your oral health. Should you go over this cap, you are responsible for the remaining balance; however, it is possible that our team will work with you to extend your treatment across calendar years to help you avoid additional out of pocket costs.
This is one of the great perks of seeing an in-network dentist as opposed to one who is out of network. Although the choice is yours, you will save more money by seeing someone who is in-network because of the agreement made between the dentist and your Cigna dental insurance in Park City.
