Care Without Compromise

Team

Welcome to Park City Dentistry – where modern care meets mountain calm Dental Finances & Insurance Made Easy

Financial peace of mind starts with clarity. That’s why we’re transparent about treatment, time, and cost from the start – no surprise bills, and no fine print that’s got you Googling things like “What is a dental UCR fee?” at 11 o'clock at night.

Your oral health deserves intention, not limitation. With our private practice model, we have the freedom to focus entirely on you: your comfort, schedule, and the quality of your results, rather than what your insurance company will pay for. So here, it’s not about doing more; it’s about doing it right.

How We Make It Simple

Complimentary Consultations

At Part City Dentistry, we always start with a conversation. Whether you’re exploring cosmetic options or you’ve got root canal troubles, we offer free consultations to discuss your goals, answer questions, and map out your next steps; no pressure attached!

Pre-Treatment Estimates

Before any major procedure, we’ll prepare a Pre-Treatment Estimate (PTE) for you. This helps you understand what portion of your treatment your insurance may reimburse, what your estimated out-of-pocket investment will be, and how to plan for that. It’s part of how we keep your care predictable and clear.

Flexible Payment Process

If you’re with an insurer, to make things smooth and straightforward, we collect 50% of the treatment cost at the time of service. We’ll then submit the full claim to your insurance provider on your behalf (no paperwork, no phone calls!). Once reimbursement is processed, we’ll either refund the difference or leave it as a credit on your account, whichever you prefer.

Out-of-Network, But Always On Your Side

We’re proud to be out-of-network with all insurance plans, allowing us to provide an uncompromised level of care without cutting corners.

However, we’ll still handle all the administrative work: we submit claims directly to your provider so you can maximize your benefits with minimal effort.

Because we work independently of insurance restrictions, we can invest more in precision, artistry, and time: the things that define true quality care.

Why Private Dental Care Makes Sense

Freedom to Focus on You

Insurance companies limit treatment choices, materials, and even the time your dentist can spend with you. We don’t believe that’s how healthcare should work. By staying a private practice, Dr. Calderwood and our team can offer:

  • Unrushed, personalized care built entirely around your needs
  • Top-tier materials and techniques chosen for quality, not coverage
  • Long-term health and aesthetic results that last far beyond what insurance timelines say you can and can’t have

This is healthcare grounded in respect for your time, your health, and your trust.

For Your Peace of Mind

When it comes to your health, transparency is the highest form of respect. We’re here to help you understand every step, from your first consultation to the moment you see your new smile in the mirror.

If you have questions about estimates, claims, or payment options, just give us a call! You’ll speak to a real person who knows your name and genuinely wants to help.

FAQs - You Asked, We Answer

What does “out-of-network model” mean for me?

Being out of network means we aren’t bound by an insurance plan’s restricted fee schedule. You receive the full breadth of care we believe in; we submit claims on your behalf so you can still potentially receive reimbursement.

Why am I paying a deposit before treatment?

We require a 50% deposit because we begin your custom care immediately: personalized planning, premium materials, and dedicated scheduling. The remainder is reconciled once your insurance responds.

Do you accept dental insurance?

Yes. We accept most plans, file claims electronically for you, and help you interpret what the plan covers. Because we are out-of-network, we focus on what’s best for your health, not what’s cheapest for your insurer.

What is a Pre-Treatment Estimate (PTE), and why should I ask for one?

A PTE is a document your insurance pre-approves based on your treatment plan. It outlines what the plan will pay, what percentage might apply, and your estimated out-of-pocket amount, helping you plan ahead with confidence.

Do you ever offer discounts?

We do not offer discounts. Our value lies in time, expertise, and materials, not in price cuts. We believe reducing cost should never reduce quality.
